-  Living whole in a world of brokenness.

You were called to God's Kingdom "for such a time like this!"

I think of the various singles in the Bible: Joseph, Daniel, and young David.

They lived very fulfilled in their lives.  They were not waiting to exhale.  They lived very purposeful lives, giving indisputable evidences of God’s presence and power in their lives.  -  How did they do it?

I read about Julia Butterfly, 24, who went out on a limb, literally, for her beliefs. She spent two years living in a giant redwood tree in Northern California, 180 feet above the ground. This extreme action was her attempt to save the tree from a lumber company, which owned the forest and wanted to chop down the 1000-year-old tree and sell the wood. Butterfly is a member of an environmental protection group.
What dedication - for a tree! She was committed.

The power of commitment. Life is about purpose. Purpose crystallized by focus. Purpose seen in your passion.  Your passion is seen in your daily pursuit or routine.

And that's what Joseph, Daniel and young David had. They were very committed to the God they served.

Understanding the Lord’s burden for men and women’s souls, Christians are called to be also committed to doing God´s will - making disciples of Jesus Christ. Mat. 28:19,20.
It´s because, you see, we are called to God´s Kingdom - "for such a time like this."

Oh, the awesome power of a committed life!

As a Christian, how committed are you?
