If I had another chance at life
I´m sure that I would only do
The things I know for sure are right
And walk the way that’s really true

Now, it seems time can´t erase the pain I´ve felt
The scars which may never melt
I´ve realized much too late
Truly, I am the master of my fate

My destiny is at my command
My life is really in my hands
But answer me – indeed, be bold:
Who but God knows what the future holds?

Is it really too late?
Is it ever too late?
If I were to say that today I´ll start again
And turn back the hands of time
I´ll begin to drive away the hurts and pain
And find a life that’s so sublime – the life of being ‘born again’.

I´ll begin to hold my head up high
To know my God, my Savior nigh

The important areas of my life
I´ll slowly release myself from strife
From a life of abject meaninglessness
I´ll know a life of so much fruitfulness!
Who would stop me?
Who could stop me?

Yes, it´s never too late!
Jesus Christ says, “You must be born again.” John 3:3
´ Today is the day,´ I say.
